It is with great pleasure that we welcome you to the 17th Asia Pacific Signal and Information Processing Association (APSIPA) Annual Summit and Congress (ASC) 2025. This prestigious event will be held at the iconic Shangri-La Singapore from October 22–24, 2025.
Singapore has the unique distinction of being the only city in the world to host APSIPA ASC twice. The first APSIPA ASC in Singapore was organized in 2010, and now, 15 years later, we are thrilled to bring this esteemed summit back to our vibrant city.
The inaugural APSIPA ASC was held in Sapporo, Japan, in 2009, and since then, we have successfully organized annual ASCs in various locations across Asia, the United States, and New Zealand. Over the years, APSIPA has grown into a vibrant and dynamic community of researchers, educators, and practitioners dedicated to advancing the fields of signal and information processing.
Today, APSIPA offers an extensive array of activities for its members, including Distinguished Lecturer programs, seasonal schools, technical committee initiatives, and local chapter events, fostering collaboration and driving innovation across the globe.
For the 2025 edition of the conference, we are excited to introduce several new initiatives, such as Grand Challenges, journal presentation sessions, perspective and panel discussions, as well as numerous special events designed specifically for students and young researchers. These activities will provide unique opportunities to engage with industry leaders and academic experts across the Asia-Pacific region, encouraging meaningful interactions and inspiring future advancements.
We look forward to celebrating innovation, collaboration, and advancements in signal and information processing with all of you. The theme of this year APSIPA ASC 25 is “Signal and Information Processing in the Era of Multimodal AI.” Let us work together to make APSIPA ASC 2025 a truly memorable and impactful experience!
