The APSIPA Travel Grant Scheme aims to provide financial support to students from ASEAN countries (excluding Singapore), Bangladesh, and India attending APSIPA ASC. The scheme aims to promote inclusivity and foster collaboration within the APSIPA community.
Eligibility Criteria:
To be eligible for the Travel Grant Scheme, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- The applicant must be students (graduate or undergraduate).
- The applicant must be a resident of one of the ASEAN countries (excluding Singapore), Bangladesh or India.
- The applicant must have paper(s) accepted for presentation at APSIPA ASC, with each paper covered by full registration.
- The applicant must attend the APSIPA ASC in person to present the paper and is registered as a student or with full registration.
Grant Details:
- Each eligible participant will receive a grant of US $400.
- The total budget for the Travel Grant Scheme is US $10,000, supporting a maximum of 25 participants.
- Travel grant funds will be disbursed to recipients during or after the APSIPA ASC.
Selection process:
- The Travel Grant committee will review and evaluate the applications received based on the eligibility, necessity, and quality of the paper.
Applicants wishing to apply for the Travel Grant should submit an online application by 27 August 2025. Applicants will be notified about the decision by no later than 5 September 2025.
