Tutorials

Objectives

Tutorials are an important component of APSIPA ASC program, providing the opportunity to learn about the current research areas of growing interest in the community.  The theme for this year APSIPA ASC is on “Signal and Information Processing in the Era of Multimodal AI” and we encourage potential speakers to submit their proposals to caisiqi@ieee.org.

    • Submission specification: PDF format,  file size<20MB.
    • Please name your file in the following format, <Author Last Name>_<Author First Name>_<Tutorial Name>.pdf ( e.g. Smith_John_Speech_Coding.pdf ).

Tutorials will have a duration of 3 hours, including a 20-minute break, and will take place before the main technical program. As APSIPA ASC2025 is an in-person conference, for each accepted tutorial, its proposer(s) will have to present it in-person in Singapore.

Guidelines

Tutorial proposals should include the following essential information:

  1. Title of the tutorial.
  2. Presenter name(s), contact information, short biography (maximum of 1000 characters), and five recent related publications.
  3. A summary of presenter’s previous tutorial delivery experience.
  4. The rationale for the tutorial including:
    • The importance,
    • Timeliness,
    • Novelty of the tutorial, and
    • How it can introduce new ideas, topics, and tools to the APSIPA community.

5. A detailed description of the tutorial outlining the topics and subtopics covered.
6. A statement of any previous or related versions of this tutorial.

Important Dates (Tutorial Submissions are now closed)

  • Submission deadline: 30th April 2025
  • Notification of acceptance for tutorial proposal: 15th May 2025

The tutorial sub-committee will evaluate the tutorial proposals. If there is any question, please email us at apsipa2025info@gmail.com .The APSIPA ASC ‘25 tutorial committee has the final say in accepting or rejecting the tutorial proposal.
